Why We’re Changing To 20 Minute Appointments

You may have seen recently that we are changing Chiropractic follow-up appointments to 20 minute slots from March 24th.

Why the change?

We have recently made the exciting move of adding Lisa to the team to run the reception area. This means that Mike will no longer have to deal with payments or scheduling, as well as many other oddjobs in the day-to-day business of the clinic.

When Mike started Pyramid Health in 2020, 30-minute appointments allowed for time to don and doff PPE (remember that?!), schedule appointments, take payment, and leave space between patients to minimise cross-contamination. All of which took place in the front lounge of Withycombe Rugby Club!

Changing to 20 minute appointments simply means that the appointment times better reflect the amount of time needed to provide the right care to patients, usually with some left to spare. Many chiropractic clinics operate 15 or even 10 minute appointment slots.

Why has my appointment time changed?

You may find that a previously booked appointment may move 10 minutes earlier or later to allow for the diary to be fully booked - moving from 9:30am to 9:40am for example. If your new appointment time is not convenient please let us know and we can find one that suits you.
